Gradlivo ("we", "us") is responsible for gradlivo.com. This page describes the data we handle and the control you have over it. The summary: your assignment grades and their weights never leave your device, because that is where the calculation runs.

The tool this policy covers

Gradlivo is a weighted grade calculator: it tracks a running course grade from weighted assignments and works out the score needed on a final exam to reach a target. In practice, it sums each category's weighted contribution for the current grade, then solves the weighted average backwards for the final-exam score that would land on the target — so the answer accounts for however much of the course is still outstanding. This page should be read with that tool in mind, because the limits described apply to what it computes.

In day-to-day use the tool works only from your assignment grades and their weights, and it is usually opened for things like seeing where a course grade stands mid-term. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.

Data you give the tool

This site has no backend that receives what you type. The page reads your input to compute an answer, shows it to you, and forgets it — because nothing was ever sent anywhere in the first place. The arithmetic is identical regardless of who is looking at the screen.

Automatic technical data

Delivering a page necessarily produces some technical detail at the edge: an IP address, a browser string, the path requested and when. Gradlivo uses that only to serve and protect the site. It is not stitched together with whatever you enter into the tool.

Cookies, ads and advertising partners

We use one first-party cookie for the consent choice and nothing more. Any other cookies come from advertising partners outside our control; they can be blocked or deleted in your browser, and doing so costs the tool nothing, because the calculation is independent of them.

Analytics

Where analytics are enabled they record aggregate usage only — page views and approximate region. We do not build individual profiles, and analytics providers are never given access to what you enter into the tool.

What you type stays local

The values you enter are read by the page itself and nowhere else. No copy is kept after you navigate away, since none was ever made.

Retention and security

Gradlivo keeps nothing that identifies you and nothing you calculated. The only security surface that matters is the site's own delivery, which is encrypted throughout and patched when it needs to be.

Children

The site is not designed for, or marketed to, children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Rights you can exercise

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information held about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not store what you enter, there is usually no personal data to produce — but you are welcome to ask.

Changes to this policy

Gradlivo revises this page whenever the way it handles data changes; the "last updated" line at the top always shows the current version.
