About Us
A grade is just weights multiplied by work — yet most students never add the numbers up mid-term. Gradlivo exists to show you exactly where your course stands right now and, more usefully, the single number you need on the final to get the letter you are aiming for.
Our Mission
Lesson plans give away the game: homework 20%, quizzes 20%, midterm 25%, final 35%. Add up your scores and you can know your grade without waiting for the portal to refresh. That is the whole idea — put the syllabus math in your hands, in seconds, so “am I passing?” and “what will I need on the final?” stop being anxious guesses and become two clean numbers.
Private by Design
Gradlivo runs entirely in your browser. The course names, scores and weights you type are processed by JavaScript on your device and never sent to a server. There is no account, no login, and no hidden database of your grades — reload or clear your cache and it is gone.
How It Works
- Current grade. Each category’s score is divided by its total and multiplied by its weight, then those weighted shares are renormalized over the categories you have actually completed so your standing is never distorted by an ungraded final.
- Needed on the final. Enter a target letter or percentage and, with one category left blank, the tool reverse-engineers the exact exam score that clears the line.
- Simulation. The grade-simulation bar paints what your final course grade becomes at every exam score from 10% to 100%, so you can see how much slack you really have.
- Multi-course view. Track several classes and the summary rolls them up into an average letter grade and a weighted GPA on a 4.0 scale.
What We Do Not Do
We do not replace your teacher or your school’s portal. Curving, dropped scores, extra credit and quirky rounding all live in the official gradebook. Gradlivo mirrors the most common weighted scheme as faithfully as it can; treat it as your planning tool and your teacher as the authority.
